Ho,Ho,Ho 2010!

For Mr. T. it was all business

For G - is was business and pleasure.

And for poor, poor F- ......

it was torture.

Poor little girl. I'm ashamed to admit I think its hysterical!

Reminds me of this.....
I  love a crying baby.

Snow

We had a great snow storm hit us. It left several inches of fluffy snow and then it stayed warm so you could  play outside and not freeze. T- was outside for several hours, coming in once to use the bathroom and refuel on some hot chocolate. G- loves playing outside and actually looked at me long enough so I could snap her picture.

Preschool Christmas Play

I love those crazy thumb sucking teeth

She seems to be wondering if her cotton ball wool matches the black velvet on her dress

Honestly it doesn't get any cuter, any funnier or any sweeter than a group of 4 year olds singing, dancing and acting. G- loved every second of it and did a fantastic job!

Happy Birthday!

Birthdays are a big deal in our house, after all you only turn 7 once! Happy birthday Mr. T. I hope you had a great time!

Happy Halloween!

Ice Wolf Shadow Ninja, an adorable poodle skirt (kids kept asking me exactly what she was, a girl from the 50's/60's meant nothing to them) and Thumbelina wearing her favorite Christmas fleece.

Corn box

Are they called corn boxes or corn pits? I really don't know but I do know the kids love them!

Hi There!

F- has reached the super friendly stage where she waves and gives everybody a big "Hi There", (especially if there is a dog involved).

It's Pumpkin Patch Season!

I love pumpkin patch season. I know all of my faithful and devoted blog followers have been anxiously awaiting the first batch of fall pictures....wait no more my friends, the moment has come! F- is looking as cute as ever, G- actually had some decent smiles for me and T- is old enough to know this is serious business.

She obviously shares my loves of pumpkins
She doesn't get any cuter than this!
F- sucks her fingers and covers her face when she tired, my husband calls it the Count Dracula move. I really wish I knew where G's shoes were in this shot, but between T- screwing around, F- doing the Dracula and G- being shoeless it is an acurate description of our life.
I'm pretty sure this is illegal, but F- really wanted to take a ride.  F's is also eating corn kernels she found on the ground. G- is asking her what she has in her mouth, F- has guilt written all over her sweet little face. Babies make terrible liars.

Swing!

The girls next door taught her how to pump on the swing and she is hooked! The swing has made the entire playset purchase worth while. She is on the swing daily, singing away, I love looking out my kitchen window watching her. Everyday she goes a little bit higher and recently learned how to jump off while swinging. I'm sure shots of her in cast will be coming up next! It wouldn't be right for me not to capture her loving this great childhood past time.

Park

I have a "thing" for old vintage baby dresses, I found this last year and knew F- had to have it and waited patiently for the right moment.......

We hit the park and I had visions of beautiful portraits....and I was close to getting one - until she discovered the only puddle in the entire park. It all went down hill, it wasn't along until she was wet, muddy cold mess.
I'll have to try again when the puddle is gone!

Swim Baby

Of all the stuffed animals and baby dolls we have in the house she has to fall in love with the mildew crusted swim baby. She loves this doll she kisses it, talks to it, drops it down the stairs and holds it. Right now its in the bath tub, since it takes 2 weeks to dry the thing out thats where its staying. I wonder if  the doll would survive the washing machines germ blasting cycle?

Flip Flops

Last year she couldn't stand flip flops, this year she loves them. I'm not sure how she can possible walk the way she wears them, but she seems to pull it off. And yes they are on the wrong feet.

Delicous!

You know its good when you need to eat with your feet

Big Brother

She LOVES her big brother and he deserves her love. He is so sweet to her, he plays nicely with her, worries about her, takes care of her and watches out for her - everything a big brother should do. In return she smiles at him, cuddles him, rewards him with the kind of love that has to be earned from a baby. It all breaks my heart I love watching them together.

Cake!

The girl is smart, she wanted her cake and she wanted now. As I was flagging down my husband on the other side of the room she grabbed her nearest grandpa, pointed out the lighter, asked oh so sweetly if he would light her candles for her and being a good grandpa he did just as he was asked. I love this picture, it melts my heart!

Wedding!

Ahhhh love is in the air! My cousin got married this last weekend and I had a WONDERFUL time acting like a proffessional photographer. Normally weddings aren't my thing, I never seem to get it right, but for some reason I rocked it. The lighting was fantastic and the bride and groom were totally laid back. They didn't care if I rolled across the isle to get the right shot. I am waiting for the brides permission before I plaster my blog with their wedding pictures (not everybody wants to be on the world wide web) however I am taking the liberty of posting just this one! More to come.....if they give me the thumbs up.

Beach

I'm pretty sure she is thinking that she'd rather be eating sand and drinking lake water than have her picture taken.

Exhausted

Yes she was that tired.

She eventually did wake up and move to the couch, the poor girl was a train wreck.

Lovin' The Lashes

Maybe someday she will forgive me for posting a picture of her with a crusty nose (my photshop skills aren't all that), but I had to share this picture because her eyes and eye lashes look amazing. She does have a killer set of eyes, tonight I was noticing that her lashes are so long that when she eats food gets stuck in them. The fact she is new self feeder doesn't help either!

Morning Has Broken

Morning Has Broken, sung by Cat Stevens was one of my fathers favorite songs. I can hear him singing and whisling. I will never not be able to listen to this song and not hear him.

The day we said our final good-bye to my dad we saw a beautiful rainbow, my aunt told my cousin "there is your uncle smiling down at you", I can't help but wonder if she was right.
