Valentines Day

This year our entire family went out to a romantic, candle lit dinner for our meal of love. I made reservations weeks in advance and we went to White Castle. Those who are not familiar with such a high end restaurant let me describe it for you - hang over food. Greasy, everything is fried or layered in grilled onions. Some (like my husband LOVE it) others (like myself) suffer for days after eating there. I surprised my family, I made them all dress up (that was mostly for G- because she loves putting on her fancy dress) and yes they were surpised. The reservations were necessary, once a year on February 14th this classy fast food chain pulls out the table cloths, napkins and offers tableside service. They really do book up weeks ahead of time. Adding a touch of romance in the air they put some kind of pink paper over their lights, giving the entired restaurant a feeling that probably make Austin Powers or The Ladies Man very happy. That would be why all my pictures are pink!

True to her girlish ways, G- loves umbrellas. In fact any reason is a good reason to accessorize! When we walk down to the bus stop she insists on bringing her umbrella. On this day she bought it out after a snow storm and everything colorful was hiden under a pile of snow.

I couldn't wait any longer, I had to share! I'm giving myself a huge pat on the back for getting Mr. T to pose on a pink background with flowers. Oh he did put up a stink, but I was ready with a blue shirt and some candy for bribery.

She is so going to hate me when she's older
