It was a wet, gray, cold and soggy Halloween. We were in winter jackets and carried umbrellas and it didn't help. We were still frozen and wet to the bone. You know it's bad when the kids give up trick or treating!

Photoshop Class

I'm taking a photoshop class this month and I am digging it! I have learned so much in just a week, can't wait to complete the month.....but I might be reprocessing every image in my house!

Sweet Girl

Our last dog did not like having her picture taken. That little black box caused her to much anxiety and in every picture she would look stressed. Other dogs do not care and are happy to ignore you. Katie was happy to ignore me and let me click away. She is not our puppy but lives at of one of the local stables.

I realized it has been well over a year since I have changed any of my profile pictures. I had a hair appointment and figured that was the perfect excuse to take some pictures. Of course I had a little bit of help and she wanted her picture taken to.

The Furry Devil

Here is the birthday girl (7 really?) giving our furry devil a little rub down. I hope he appreciate how lucky he is!

 

First Day of School!

Has it really been since April that I last posted? Oops! The summer and spring escaped me, time to catch up! Here they are first day of school! Second grade and fourth grade? Where has the time gone?

SO Her

Every so often I'll capture my children in a picture that is SO them. This picture is SO G-. Sockless (even though its freezing), disheveled hair, clashing hair band, playing with her squinkies and clip on earing's.

My Latest Model

Ever since our puppy passed our cat has become a member of the family again. He did not care for the dog so he kept himself and stayed upstairs AWAY from our sweet canine. However now that he is the only pet in the house he makes regular appearances. Since he loves the light coming in from the widows he often sits in the best lighting a photographer (wanna be) could wish for. Unfortunately for him this has led to him being my new model. He doesn't like it, but he won't move so he just sits and gives me dirty looks as I click away. After chasing/bribing/begging children I can handle all the nasty looks he can dish out.

Just A Little Bit Of Snow

So far it's been a pretty snowless this winter. We finally recieved about a 1/2 inch and the kids were hard up enough for some winter fun that they went out and made the best of it!

What can I say, I love nice, natural window light. Toss on some sparkling blue eye's and set of eyelashes that I'd kill for and I need to whip out the camera!
